A Digital Video Recorder. A DVR has the capacity to rewind, pause or record live TV. Record up to 80 hours of standard definition programming and up to 18 hours of HD programming. A DVR can be set to record your favorite show when you're not home. With a DVR one can also record one show while watching another or record two shows at the same time while watching a third recorded show.
